Christening

Last Friday was the night that Silas was supposed to be Christened. With the bad weather that came through everything got canceled. Britney was a little stressed out but it all came together on Saturday. We had a private ceremony at our church Pulaski Height UMC. It was so sweet. I really didn’t think I would get emotional but I did. I can’t say I boo hooed like the 2 grandmothers but I did tear up. Silas looked so beautiful in his gown. Jason was so funny. You could NOT call it a dress. The minister even said during the ceremony that his dress was so beautiful and Jason blurted out, “It’s a gown :)!” He is so funny. We had a great group of people that came and afterwards we headed over to my parent’s house for a yummy lunch. Britney had some of my good friends, Jeremy and Jacquelyn from Palette Catering, make the cookies. They were so pretty, we didn’t want to eat them but once we did no one could stop because they were so good. It was a great day spent with family and great friends.
