Taylor and I met with the specialist for our ultrasound this morning. Â I was surprisingly calm. Â Taylor was a little on the edgy side which really caught me off guard. Â He has been so calm and reassuring since the beginning of this. Dr. Chatelain is such a nice doctor and totally made us feel comfortable....

She had an Aunt Mamie that we have heard stories about our whole lives. I have always loved the name and decided when I had a baby girl I would name her Mamie. Katherine which is going to be her middle name is after both Taylor and my Grandmother. We think it is a very sweet name :) We thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Sarah

My sister and both of my sisters-in-law all experienced tons of scares like this during their pregnancies and those pregnancies resulted in my 6 perfectly healthy and happy nieces and nephews (and one more on the way). :) I will be thinking about you guys and sending lots of healing vibes out to you. February 6, 2009 - 5:00 pm - Oh lady... Great response. I know this is probably a HUGE deal to you - much more than you are making it sound in your email. But your attitude is perfect - know what's up, but take it in stride. Both of my boys had problems in pregnancy - all kinds of crazy things were supposedly happening that the doctor's were telling me about, but they both were born perfectly healthy. I think doctors really try & prepare you for things, but it can be intimidating & terrifying, and that little cyst I'm sure will be no problem by the time your precious little girl is born. I'll keep you in my prayers for an anxiety free pregnancy & for your little girl to be born complication-free!

February 6, 2009 - 5:02 pm - Oh Sarah, I'll be praying for you. I'm sure it will work out fine. My firstborn was diagnosed with a single umbilical artery at my first ultrasound which can cause all sorts of heart and kidney defects, low birth weight as well as missing digits. I was considered "high risk" and had ultrasounds throughout the pregnancy. Long story short, Jake was born healthy as a horse and continues to be so, 8 years later. Hang in there, sweetie. Kelly
